Thank you for your interest in our event. Unfortunately, this webinar has passed. View a recording of the session below.
The Biden Administration announced it intends to end both the COVID-19 National and Public Health Emergencies on May 11, 2023. The end of the Public Health Emergency on May 11 primarily affects required coverage for COVID-19 testing and vaccination and telemedicine benefits. The end of the National Emergency will begin a 60-day countdown for the expiration of the separate Outbreak Period, which extended deadlines for HIPAA special enrollment opportunities, the time to file claims for benefits, COBRA elections and payment, and provided relaxed disclosure rules for employers and their plans.
This webinar will:
Address how the end of the COVID-19 relief affects employers and their group health plans
Share considerations for planning purposes
Recommend actions before the end of the relief periods
Date: March 23, 2023
Time: 2 pm, ET
Duration: 60 minutes
Speakers: Chris Beinecke, EH&B National Compliance Leader
