Our employees matter. And they bring their personal challenges with them to the workplace. High healthcare costs as well as the fear of losing income from being absent from work can deter employees from seeking medical care. The KFF study shows employees not being able to afford healthcare can result in being forced to make incredibly hard choices—pay rent, buy groceries, see the doctor, or fill a prescription. They can even be pushed into medical bankruptcy by the cost of healthcare and health insurance.
What will you learn during this session?
Learn about the current state of challenges employees are facing and what the data can tell us.
Learn how PATH data analysts, clinical consultants and health management consultants employ relevant SDoH data in combination with medical, pharmacy and vendor data to reveal ‘whole person’ clinical insights.
Learn how these ‘whole person’ insights help employers to better understand factors impacting the health of their members and trend variations by locations / salary.
Lastly, learn how employers explore and engage innovative and sustainable employer, carrier, regional, and publicly available solutions to support the unique social needs of members.
