Business Insurance interviews Sue Deegan and Lydia Zaharia

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) recently announced new limits on the amounts of perfluoroalkyl and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) allowed drinking water.

Marsh McLennan Agency’s Sue Deegan, Vice President of Environmental Services, and Lydia Zaharia, Environmental Marketing Director, spoke with Business Insurance about how this new regulation will impact clients, what industries will be affected the most, and more.

“What’s going to happen is these utilities are going to look for responsible parties to help share the cost to remediate their systems and correct the infrastructure. They’re going to start looking for those polluters who introduced PFAS into the drinking water supply,” said Sue.
