White Plains, NY, July 19, 2024 – Marsh McLennan Agency (MMA), today announced that Ryan Watkins, President of its Upper Midwest region, has been named regional CEO. In this role, Mr. Watkins reports to David Eslick, Chairman and CEO of MMA, and succeeds Tim Fleming, who has been appointed Chairman of the region.
As CEO of the Upper Midwest region, Mr. Watkins is responsible for providing overall leadership for the region that consists of 33 local offices across Michigan, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Missouri, Nebraska, Kansas, Iowa and the Dakotas, and more than 1,500 colleagues. Based in Minneapolis, he will also continue to focus on driving regional strategy and business development initiatives.
Mr. Watkins brings over 20 years of insurance experience to the role, having served in various leadership roles at MMA prior to being named President of the Upper Midwest region in 2023. Mr. Watkins was named President of MMA’s Minneapolis operations team in 2015 and CEO of the Minneapolis office in 2017.
