White Plains, New York, September 24, 2024 – Marsh McLennan Agency, a business of Marsh and a leading provider of business insurance, employee health and benefits, retirement and wealth, and private client insurance solutions across North America, announced today that Matt Stadler, President and CEO of Marsh McLennan Agency’s Southwest region, will become President of the firm effective January 1, 2025, reporting to David Eslick, Chairman and CEO.
As President of Marsh McLennan Agency, Mr. Stadler will be based in Dallas and will focus on developing and advancing Marsh McLennan Agency’s strategic, national direction through acquisitions, client engagement, talent development, and scaling best practices. He brings 20 years of employee benefit and property/casualty insurance experience to the role, having served in leadership positions of increasing responsibility. He joined MMA in 2015 as Executive Vice President upon the acquisition of MHBT, Inc., and was named president of MMA Texas in 2019 and CEO of the Southwest region in 2023.
Mr. Stadler succeeds Bill Jeatran, who will become Vice Chairman of Marsh McLennan Agency on January 1, with responsibility for supporting merger and acquisition opportunities, leading special projects, and maintaining key carrier relationships. Mr. Jeatran joined Marsh McLennan Agency in 2011 upon the acquisition of RJF Agencies, Inc., a Minneapolis, Minnesota-based agency he led for 25 years. He was named President of Marsh McLennan Agency in 2017. He will continue to report to Mr. Eslick.
Also on January 1, Rob Bridges, President of Marsh McLennan Agency’s Southwest region, will become CEO of the Southwest region, succeeding Mr. Stadler. Mr. Bridges brings more than 25 years of insurance experience to the role having started his career as a technology underwriter at Chubb Insurance before moving to Wortham Insurance, where he spent 18 years before the firm was acquired by Marsh in 2018. Mr. Bridges will be based in Austin and will report to Mr. Eslick.
