Physical Well-being Playbook Step 3: Find Opportunities to Impact

Establish a well-being program that is ingrained in and supports company culture.

Employers

Offer a regular cadence of education and well-being initiatives.

Use a variety of methods, including well-being seminars and workshops, short videos, written materials, onsite presentations, and opportunities to talk with professionals in the physical well-being dimension. Marsh McLennan Agency offers a variety of resources to support employers, consult with your dedicated team for more information.

You can incorporate aspects of physical well-being in a variety of arenas in the workplace to have a positive impact on employees’ health. Lead by example with positive physical well-being practices, and support employees’ own pursuit of physical well-being in meaningful ways. When opportunities exist as part of the company culture, rather than as a program in a silo, they become part of a whole-person approach to well-being.

Consider other opportunities to decrease barriers for employees seeking better physical well-being.

Employees

Connecting with others can help employees reach their physical well-being goals. Share tips with your employees that encourage them to achieve their fitness goals together.
